Back in July 2001, Nico wrote Marty O'Donnell to find out where he got those great string sounds for the incredible music in Bungie's Myth I and Myth II games. This little magic box was it. While these can still be obtained for a few hundred USD, the Orchestral and Vintage Synth cards are a necessary addition to make the JD-990 really shine. It's used for many of the strings and drones in RvB S6 and onward.
