Limited Edition Sand Trocadero T-shirt
These moisture-wicking, quick-drying, 100% poly T-shirts are unissued new old stock US Military surplus in 503 Desert Sand made in the USA (KS, KY, and VA.) NSN 8415-01-519-8783 (XS) through NSN 8415-01-519-8788 (XXL). NSN creation date is 05 May 2004.
We tracked down a small (~120) number of these from various surplus vendors and had our V2 logo silkscreened on the front, and Trocadero on the back, right here in Seattle.
The quick-drying properties of these shirts make them comfortable to wear at a concert or to sleep in. They're great when traveling in case you get stuck somewhere: You can wash them by hand in a hotel room, and they'll generally be dry the next day. They're also odor-resistant and appropriate for both athletic and lounging activities.
PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO SIZING.
In general, sizing is slim, so you may want to order a size up. The shirts have some stretch to them.
They run long, as the contract calls for being "long enough to be tucked inside the waistband of trousers or pants."
Wash in cold water, tumble dry low or preferably line dry — no iron, no bleach, no high heat, unless you want an expensive ball of plastic.
The neck collar might need to be stretched out by hand at first. The shirt will get softer with subsequent washes.
